It's been a while since my last post. So much has been going on... good and not so good. I recently had the ability to travel to spend time with my family during a time which was essential for us to be together as a family. I was also able to spend Father's Day with my dad in the first time in 8 years...and I wouldn't change that for the world.
My parents recently had to say good-bye to their beloved dog of 13 years, and he was a special part of all of our lives. It was great to spend time with him too before the end. It's odd how animals are like people... they have a spurt of energy and exuberance right before it's their time to go. I think it's their way of having you remember all the goodness they bring people. We will all miss him dearly.
On a good front... after the long waiting, interviewing processes, job hunting, and prayers for something 'right' to come my way - I landed a job! Woo-hoo! I will start with my 2 week training next week, and then back to the grind. I am thrilled to have found something that I feel is in the industry I've been called to and think this opportunity is one that will open many doors.
I finally received my diploma.. I guess it's finally official - I have my MBA. It just didn't feel real until I received the diploma and the transcripts to go with it. Wow - what a ride that has been. I do encourage anyone that has the desire to continue their education or to start it- to do it... it really is worth it in the end. Even if you have husbands, kids, a job - you can do it. Just believe that you are worth it!
